PM: No power cuts in industrial areas ‘Economic development govt’s priority’

Birgunj, Dec 23, Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai Friday pledged that the industrial sector would be freed from the problem of power cuts.
Inaugurating an international fair, Neaksapo-2011, here, he said this would happen during his term as the PM.
The Prime Minister said he would implement this ambitious plan at all costs.
He said peace and constitution writing tasks would be accomplished within the targeted time. After that, the government’s priority would be economic development, the PM added.
He appealed to the private investors to invest for a long-term and not just aim at taking short-term benefits from different prices with India.
Prime Minister Dr. Bhattarai also said Birgunj had given a message that economic revolution was needed from here across the country by organizing similar fairs.
He also said that he was ready to help all proposals made for economic development.
He assured that land would be provided in Birgunj to build an international trade fair center.
He also gave the words that the high level management education academy would also be established in Birgunj for producing managerial human resources for industrial promotion.
Dr. Bhattarai directed the regional administrator and chief district officers present at the function to provide immediate relief to those facing problems due to rising cold.
He informed that he had directed authorities on this matter but still it was sad that common people died of the cold.
He expressed his ire with government officials who did not implement his earlier directions on the matter.
