Three die in separate accidents

Three persons died in two separate road accidents on Friday morning in Butwal-Sunawal road section of East-west highway and in Dhading district.
The deceased are identified as Kamal and Niraj Gahatraj of Bandipokhari of Palpa district. The duo lost control over the motorcycle with registration No. Lu 11 Pa 6655 which skidded off, the Western Regional Traffic Police Office, Butwal said.
In Dhading, a person died on the spot when an orange loaded vehicle overturned at Satkilo in Dhading district on the Prithvi Highway. The identification of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Likewise, a Kathmandu-bound vehicle with registration No. Ba 5 Cha 6919 fell off some 30 metres from the road into the Maheshkhola. The vehicle was coming from Lamjung.
The area police office, Khanikhola, said that the body was trapped inside the vehicle and could not be pulled out from the vehicle till Friday morning, as it was trapped beneath the vehicle. Vehicle driver Santosh Khatri of Naubise-1, Dhading district has sustained minor injuries in the accident.
In Tansen, family of the deceased hit by a truck in Palpa have not come yet to receive the body.
The body is not yet identified and bad smell has spread in the hospital as no one came, police said.
He was hit by a truck Lu 1 Kha 6817 at Lamidanda of Tansen -9 Saturday. The man looked 50-52 years of age and of hilly origin, said Inspector Purushottam Prasad Pandey.
He had died while undergoing treatment in Lumbini Medical College Prabhas Palpa.
Likewise, relatives of another body who died of cold have also not come to receive the body.
